Whats a Signing Agent?
A Notary Signing Agent is a Notary who has particular expertise to handle and notarize loan papers. For lenders, Notary Signing Agents are the final critical link to complete the loan. A Notary Signing Agent is hired as an independent contractor to ensure that the borrower executes real estate loan documents, notarized, and returns for processing on time. What Is a Notary Public?
A Notary Public is an official of integrity appointed by state government —typically by the secretary of state — to serve the public as an impartial witness in performing various official fraud-deterrent acts related to the signing of important documents.
